01 · SKINNING
Skinning & hide preparation
Rates per foot of alligator length. Salt and labor prepare your hide for the tannery; tanning is quoted separately.

European alligator head mounts
Prices are based on the alligator’s length.
Turnaround: 3–5 months.

Hydro dipping: add $140 per head, regardless of size.
The Gator House is not responsible for damage to heads from shot placement. Heads cannot be patched using this taxidermy process.

Alligator hide tanning
Listed rates from Sebring Custom Tanning, separate from our skinning and hide preparation fees.
Hides must have tags attached. Shipping and handling are additional.
Tanning turnaround: confirm with the shop.
